RANGE RIDES: Our small ride sizes and non-nose-to-tail rides ensure that our guests receive the personal attention they deserve to have a truly interactive horseback experience. We encourage riders to ride next to one another, the guide, or out and about whenever terrain permits. It is not uncommon for guests to encounter deer, elk, antelope and other large game. For experienced riders 16 yrs and older we also offer our "Outlaw" rides: "Ride 'em like you stole 'em!!!" We offer 2 and 3 hour group and private rides (Min 2, Max 8 guests per guide). NO DOUBLE RIDERS, all riders must be at least 7 years old!!! The "Outlaw" ride is for experienced riders only and the first 30 minutes of the ride are essentially a test to ensure that you are capable of controlling your horse. If you fail to meet the necessary criteria, you will not be allowed to continue and will be charged a 50% fee. This is to ensure that the ride is of a standard required by experienced riders. SADDLE AND PADDLE This exciting experience allows our guests to enjoy two of Colorado's most popular activities in one integrated package. Enjoy our beautiful, two hour, morning trail ride beginning at 10am (riders must be at least 7 years old), then upon your return to camp enjoy a homemade lunch while you relax beneath Lawson Ridge and enjoy the gorgeous views. After lunch you will meet your raft guide and take a wonderful float trip down the scenic Upper Colorado River. CATTLE DRIVES What better way to relive the past than going on an old fashioned Western Cattle Drive right here in the Heart of The Rockies. Check in at Cow Camp at 8:30 A.M. There you will mount up and have a riding lesson before taking to the hills to gather and drive a herd of Texas Longhorns. Your group will drive the herd 3 or more miles with a panoramic view of the Gore Range, the Williams Fork Mountains, and the Continental Divide. Riding varies from open sagebrush to aspen and pine-covered hills. A home cooked western meal awaits your return! This activity involves 3 - 4 hours of riding. We can accommodate up to 20 riders on a cattle drive. For the experienced riders we can customize a cattle drive to meet your needs. Riders must be at least 8 yrs old. (Consideration will be made for prior experience) LUNCH: Your choice of Hamburger/Chicken Breast/Veggie Burger with Chips, Potato Salad, Fresh Fruit, Dessert and soda. Lunch is included on the Cattle Drives and the Saddle and Paddle, and may be added to the other rides for $15/person.

Activity Notes

Wear seasonal, comfortable apparel (long pants)
Sneakers or Cowboy Boots are best or sturdy shoes (no sandals, clogs or hiking boots please!)
Bring gloves, hat and rain gear - Rides go out Rain or Shine - Be Prepared!!!
Bring sunscreen, bottled water and eye protection (sunglasses)
No Double Riders, 230lbs weight limit on ALL rides
Range Rides - 7+ yrs old
Cattle Drives - 8+ yrs old
Outlaw Ride - 16+ yrs old
All reservations are 48 Hour cancellation policy (Ranch will only cancel if the activity becomes dangerous)

The Ranch is CLOSED on Mondays to rest the horses (The Wranglers still have to work!!!)
