What better highlight to your vacation than a trail ride in the high country of Colorado, where the "Old West" is still alive and well, and cowboys still ply their trade just as they did back in the 1800's. Take in the spectacular scenery as you ride the range anywhere up to 13,000'.The views are awesome - Pikes Peak, Torreys, the Collegiate Peaks, the Mosquito Range, and more! This is a trail ride like no other, and one you will remember for years to come. So, come on out and saddle up for your authentic Western adventure. You will be riding on real working cattle ranches, and your guides will be real cowboys, so you may be riding fence, checking cattle, or on occasion, moving the herd to pasture. The Mountains are still a stronghold for horses, since they are the only way to access some of the terrain that the ranches cover. This isn't just another "staged show", this is the real thing!

Forget those "nose to tail" trail rides that you may have seen elsewhere - with a vast 10,000 acres of space around you, you can strike your own trail and really get out there and enjoy the amazing views. Relax and forget all those troubles as you explore all types of terrain: open range; river bottom; forests of Lodge-pole Pine; beautiful Aspen groves and: high plains where you can see forever. This ride has got it all.

This superb variety in terrain allows us to cater for groups of all abilities, from absolute first-time beginners, to seasoned "ranch hands", there is something for everyone. The horses are all of the best stock and are in excellent condition - so you know that you don't have a tired pony that rides the same trail every day. Your outfitter is fully insured and all of your guides are EMT trained and certified professionals.

There are two or four hour rides available. Each group has a maximum of eight riders per guide so that you know that you're not going to be just one of a large group plodding along a trail. If there are more than eight in your group, then extra guides will accompany you to ensure everyone is well taken care of throughout the day. If there are multiple groups then they will take off in different directions so that everyone has their own experience without being crowded. The dinner ride includes an unforgettable meal served out under the big mountain skies.

Meet times are 9:00am for half day morning rides, 12:30pm for mid-day rides. Please allow a few extra minutes if the ride before you is a little late getting back â.. these rides are not run to tight schedules and you will be given the same relaxed treatment to ensure you get the best out of your day. The minimum age for these rides is 6 years old. Dinners can be arranged for larger groups (10 or more) upon request. Dinner rides meet at 3pm for a 2 hour ride then a hearty cowboy style dinner is served back at the ranch featuring grilled steak/chicken.
