Sleigh Rides Breckenridge (Nordic Center) Breckenridge Golf Course is the location for this truly memorable experience. Based out of the Clubhouse of this prestigious Jack Nicklaus designed golf course, which in the winter is turned into Summit County’s newest Nordic Skiing Center. This is an unbelievable location for your perfect Sleigh Ride… You will meet at the clubhouse where you will be checked-in, settled into your sleigh and snuggled down with cozy blankets to keep the winter chill at bay while you are exploring this beautiful area at the base of the Swan River Valley. The sleighs are pulled by huge Belgian/Percheron Draught Horses across the sculpted terrain of the Golf Course and off into the woods for an experience not easily forgotten. Look up at the twinkling stars of our massive Colorado skies, or enjoy the gently falling snow as you glide effortlessly through the tree-lined trails and back to the open terrain of the Golf Course and the warmth of the Clubhouse. Once back at the Clubhouse, you can warm yourself in front of a blazing river stone fireplace and perhaps gather a little more internal warmth with a drink or two from the full-service cash bar. Then retire to the dining area where you will be served hot chocolate Option 1: A scenic sleigh ride lasting approximately 40 minutes with hot chocolate. Option 2: A sleigh ride followed by a scrumptious dinner served in The Clubhouse.
