Sleigh Rides Copper Mountain

Copper Mountain is the location for this truly memorable experience. Explore beautiful tree-lined trails under the twinkling stars or the clear blue of the massive Colorado skies with the amazing backdrop of the Gore and Ten Mile Ranges. Enjoy the beauty, peace and tranquility of our snow covered Lodge Pole pine forests after dark. Pass by some of the turn of the century gold mines and structures and let your guide tell you stories of the mining days of old.

The sleighs are pulled by teams of massive Percheron Draft Horses. These weigh in at around 2000 lbs each and are all very friendly and make for great photo opportunities. Each sleigh has a capacity of 12 - 14 people, are very comfortable and a great place to snuggle down under the blankets with a few close friends.

There are two options offered…

Option 1: Sleigh Ride, S’Mores and Singing - Enjoy a 30 min sleigh ride through the Valley of the Ten Mile range to our secret hideaway in the woods. Then we will disembark from the sleighs and take pictures and pet the horses. From there you will warm up in our warming tent where you will enjoy hot cocoa and roast marshmallows over the fire to make s’mores. You will be entertained with live music and sing-along’s around the fire. Once everyone has had their fill we will get back aboard the sleigh and ride back down through the valley to the meeting point. Departs @ 4PM and 6:30PM

Option 2: Simply Scenic Sleigh Ride - Enjoy a simple 30 min sleigh ride through the Valley of the Ten Mile range and enjoy the incredible views and the stories of the colorful history that made this wonderful place. Pet the horses and get some great shots for the family album…. Departs @ 5:30PM Sleigh Rides Copper Mountain
