Step back in time to the turn of the century and experience a traditional mule drawn sleigh ride aboard a solid red oak handcrafted sleigh. In business for over twenty years, this is the premier outfitter in Summit County and they are absolutely committed to quality service, customer satisfaction, environmental awareness, and the personal homemade touch. Their attention to detail and friendly manner keep guests coming back year after year.

The adventure begins as you gather at the log built lodge at the Nordic center in Frisco, relaxing on the sofas while the mules are hitched. Climbing in the sleigh and snuggling down under antique lap sleigh robes and blankets, you begin your journey down secluded, wooded trails to the sound of sleigh bells ringing. Moonlit views of towering pines and mountain peaks are to be seen from every turn as you glide along on the twenty-minute ride out to the warm and cozy camp tent nestled in the woods. The two wood burning stoves, wooden floor, oval oak dining tables and soft lighting offer wonderful ambiance for this great hideaway in the woods! Next you will be served a superb in-house prepared dinner, which will satisfy even the heartiest appetite.

The menu consists of Hearty Southwestern Soup, a variety of handcrafted Artisan Rolls, marinated prime cuts of sirloin and chicken breast grilled to perfection (vegetarian options are available by prior arrangement), baked potatoes with sour cream and chives, a dessert of Hot Caramel Apple Pie with whipped cream, fresh roasted and ground coffee, teas and hot chocolate... Add this to the friendly wait staff and it all adds up to a memorable meal. There is a cash bar available serving locally brewed beer, wine and schnapps.

After dinner, relax, sit back and enjoy traditional camp life featuring excellent music, cowboy puzzles and live entertainment. After your meal you will re-board your sleigh for the romantic ride back to the lodge, all in all a perfect evening.

Please arrive for your tour 30 minutes early. Remember to dress for the weather - hats, gloves, coats and warm shoes are a must! There are three 12 passenger sleighs available and the trails are all groomed daily to ensure a smooth ride on your evening adventure.
